In Britain, known for its great auction and sales house, Tom Hartley Jnr currently has one of the world's priciest Ferrari models up for sale. Want a slice of auto history? This rare gem is available for $30 million.

One of only 36 examples produced from 1962 to 1964, this particular 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO can be purchased privately. The asking price for this highly exclusive Ferrari is no less than $30 million.

Though the price is quite off from the record breaking sale of a 1963 GTO sold for $70 million back in 2018, this piece has its distinct allure simply because of its history. Significantly, chassis number 3527GT is one of the very few examples coming from the launch year of the production line, being one of only 21 left-hand drive models increases its rarity as well.

This vehicle boasts of excellent state, while retaining almost all of the original parts including the chassis, body, engine, rear axle, and transmission. It is so equipped with the original 3.0-liter V12 engine which produces 296 horses with five speed manual transmission, hence retaining the true nature of this very special car.

The Ferrari 250 GTO nearly won the 1962 Tour de France for Scuderia Ferrari, and continued racing for Scuderia Filipinetti. It has since been cherished by some of the world's greatest car collectors.

Some of the most notable Ferrari models on offer include the iconic Ferrari 290 MM, priced at $28 million, and Ferrari 335 Sport Scaglietti, which auctioned for a record-breaking amount of about $36 million.
