Everything You Know About Paramount Plus New Horror Movie Apartment 7A
You'd better be ready to get terrified by this horror film, *Apartment 7A*, which is apparently the long-lost precursor to the cult classic *Rosemary's Baby*, said to be a psychological thriller

As the temperature begins to cool and Halloween draws near, here's a slate of great horror that you'll want to look out for. This year has already seen the releases that promise to run chills down the spines of viewers—there's Longlegs, Watchers, and just lastly, The Deliverance—but what will make Apartment 7A unique is because it delves into the back story of a beloved classic.
The movie revolves around Terry Gionoffrio, played by Julia Garner, a growing star, best known for her performances in Inventing Anna and for winning a Golden Globe. This young dancer is so broken by an ankle injury she hoped to get over that success begins to seem desperate. Then, when a rich, elderly couple offers her fame and fortune, she decides to accept their invitation to stay in the Bramford, an apartment building that will feel eerily familiar to fans of Rosemary's Baby.
A glimpse of what the trailer could reveal: The trailer would reveal a great psychological thriller that will make the audience feel the same suspense and horror that the release film promised. At the same time, as Terry gets closer to realizing her dream of being a city dancer, something sinister happens behind the walls of the apartment when they tell a couple who seems kind that they're not so nice after all. Will Terry be the first one to fall prey to the evil in Bramford?
Apartment 7A is a companion piece of sorts to the story of Rosemary, highlighting both women battling the horrors living within those walls of Bramford. It is the premiere work of Japanese-Australian writer-director Natalie Erika James and will be available exclusively on Paramount Plus on September 27.
As it gets closer to the release date, here's a great opportunity to re-watch Rosemary's Baby before plunging into this latest terrifying dramatization.
