Kristen Bell and Adam Brody Reunite for New Netflix Series Nobody Wants This
A sex podcaster who's an agnostic rabbi walks into a bar.

Okay, that sounds like one bad joke. But the new Netflix rom-com holds so much promise beyond that punchline. The series, starring Kristen Bell and Adam Brody, brings together two messy people from completely different worlds for a very unlikely romance.
She is an agnostic podcaster, with a series of terrible relationships through which she is wending her way. She podcasts, interviewed by her sister—think along the lines of Call Her Daddy—about all of it. Meanwhile, her love interest is Noah, a Jewish rabbi with a mother hell-bent on keeping him in the fold.
They experience, while traveling, an often-demanding mother-in-law to be, conflicting perspectives on life and faith, and much more.
Featuring leads by the names of Bell and Brody, the movie is guaranteed to attract high-paying crowds due to both of their strong filmographies. Bell is no stranger to comedy and seems like a perfect fit for the role of Joanne, given the level of success she had in The Good Place and Bad Moms. Comedic timing flows through the recently released three-minute trailer.
Likewise, Brody brings a goldmine of experience, with fame embedded in his veins after being the lovable Seth Cohen on the legendary show The O.C. His portrayal of the quirky comic book-loving teenager made him a huge pop culture sensation in the early 2000s. Since then, Brody has proved versatile across genre lines for film and television.
It will not be the first time Bell and Brody appear together. In the past, they formed part of the movie The Lifeguard produced in 2014, whereby Leigh, a previous high school valedictorian returning to her hometown, was shown to be played by Bell, whereas Todd and Leigh's ex was played by Brody.
This time, in Nobody Wants This, they reappear for the characters whose love can't be disturbed because of differences.
